Pacifique Bavugameshi
Pacifique Bavugameshi is a senior at the University of Chicago, pursuing a double major in Economics and Psychology with a minor in History. He currently serves as Co-CEO of Maverick, having previously held roles as both CEO and CIO of the fund. Pacifique joined Maverick as a first-year analyst and has since covered pitches as both an analyst and portfolio manager, specializing in the Real Estate and Financials sectors. Pacifique has gained diverse experience through internships, including at Advocate Aurora Health as an investment team intern, T. Rowe Price as an associate analyst intern in the Equity division (TRPIM), and most recently, with Goldman Sachs as a Private Credit summer analyst within their asset management business. Following graduation, he will return to Goldman Sachs as a full-time Investment Banker in their New York office. In his free time, Pacifique enjoys reading and listening to books on history, finance, and psychology. He’s an avid college football fan, rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs and Tennessee Volunteers, and also supports the Golden State Warriors. He stays active by working out, often while tuning into his favorite podcasts.
