Chenrui Dai
Chenrui Dai is a first-year History and Economics student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a strong interest in investment banking and asset management. He enjoys tracking market dynamics, analyzing M&A deals and exploring the strategies that drive business decision-making. Beyond finance, he is academically interested in British social and economic history from the 16th century to the 19th century about industrialization, urbanization and economic inequality. In his spare time, Chenrui collects old coins, designs coats of arms, listens to classical music and photographs local birds he comes across in the US—an interest sparked by noticing species unfamiliar from his home in the ‘Old World’.
